Lemon drizzle cake

Here is a a recipe for delicious lemon drizzle cake its so yummy.

INGREDIENTS:

3 eggs
170g Self Raising Flour
170g Caster Sugar
170g Butter
1 tsp Baking Powder
110g Icing Sugar
2 lemons


METHOD:

Mix together the eggs, flour, sugar, butter, baking powder and the zest of two lemons. Pop into a tin and bake in the oven (set to 180 degrees celsius) for 30-45 mins. Cooking time depends on the size of your loaf and what your oven is like. The best way to test if your cake is cooked is to carefully slide a knife into the centre and if it comes out clean with no cake batter on then the cake is cooked! Whilst the cake is still hot, poke it all over with a skewer then pour on the drizzle. The drizzle is made by mixing together the icing sugar with the juice of 2 lemons.
